“Helping people to find and follow Jesus.”

PROGRAMS

We understand that people are overscheduled and tired from the demands of raising a family in our fast paced society.  Therefore we are endeavouring to keep programming concise.  It is our belief that a church needs to have two main components.  One is big groups events; two is small group gatherings.  We encourage people to participate in Sunday Church services (big group events) and also House Churches (small group gatherings).

SUNDAY SERVICE

On Sunday mornings, the congregation meets together for the purpose of corporate worship and the relevant Bible teaching.  Our services are intentionally planned for both the churched and the seeking individual.  It is our goal that even people without any religious background will understand everything that takes place.  We also plan our services so that our members are confident in bringing their non-believing friends.  It is our belief that our church members and adherents should be constantly on mission to bring their friends and neighbours to our services.

HOUSE CHURCH

House Churches clearly fit with our vision of helping people to find and follow Jesus by facilitating an atmosphere conducive to meaningful fellowship and discipleship.  People rarely experience meaningful fellowship at a Sunday morning service, and rarely do they have opportunity to dialogue about the content and application of the message to their personal lives.  Often times, we can move in and out of the Sunday service feeling isolated and unconnected.

House Church addresses our needs as believers at a deeper level – allowing opportunity for meaningful community – and allowing opportunity to move from a passive spectator to active participant in the application of the teachings of Jesus.

Seven Benefits of House Church:

●  the Bible is better understood and personally applied in a small group

●  authentic Christian community and fellowship is experienced

●  prayer becomes more meaningful

●  personal support is immediately available during times of stress

●  non believers can be better assimilated

●  leadership skills have the chance to develop in a safe environment

●  worship can take on new and deeper meaning

“Then those people who  accepted what Peter said were baptized.  About three thousand were added to the number of believers that day.  They spent their time  learning the apostles teaching, sharing, breaking bread, and praying together.”

Acts 2:41-42 (NCV)

“So go and make followers of all people in the world.    Baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach them to obey everything that I have taught you, and I will be with you always, even until the end of this age.”

Matthew 28:19-20 (NCV)

Teacher, which command in the law is the most important?”  Jesus answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’  This is the first and most important command.  And the second command is like the first: ‘Love your neighbor as you love yourself.’”

Matthew 22:36-39 (NCV)
